For yards

Haul-outs that fit, paperwork that's already there.

List your lifts, storage and rates once. Boats see an automatic fit check before they book, and the owner's insurance certificate arrives with the booking.

A yard's provider console with its lifts: capacity, beam limit and maximum length for each

Fit check

No more 24-foot beams on an 18-foot lift.

Publish each lift's capacity, beam limit and maximum length, plus your maximum draft. Every boat that looks at your yard gets a live fit check against its own dimensions; a boat that doesn't fit can't book that lift.

  • Travel lifts, hydraulic trailers, cranes and railways
  • Weight, beam, length and draft checked
  • Owners see whether they fit before they ask

Haul-out board

Requested, confirmed, on the hard, launched.

Every haul-out lands on your board with the boat's length, beam and draft, the lift it fits and the work planned. Move it along as the boat comes out and goes back in.

  • Boat dimensions and fit on every card
  • Documents shared with the booking
  • Owners and companies see the status change

Documents

The certificate of insurance, before the boat arrives.

When an owner or company books a haul-out, they share their certificate of insurance and policy summary with your yard through an expiring link. You see what was shared; they see when you've opened it.

  • Expiring, revocable links
  • View tracking on both sides
  • Filed with the haul-out

Quotes

Win the work with a clear quote.

Quote haul, wash, blocking, paint and lay days with line items. Owners compare quotes side by side; an accepted quote becomes the work order.

  • Line items, validity and earliest start
  • Messages on each request
  • Your preferred status shows on the quote

Questions

Before you ask.

Are captains, crew and service pros employees of OUTSEA?

No. Providers are independent. They set their own rates, choose which work to take, bring their own licenses and insurance, and get paid to their own account. Declining work is never held against anyone, and any owner or company can hire any provider.

What does it cost to hire through OUTSEA?

Providers keep their full rate. Captain and crew bookings paid through OUTSEA carry a small booking fee for the person booking, shown before you confirm. Service work and yard invoices can also be recorded without paying through OUTSEA.

Who owns the boat's records?

The boat does. OUTSEA treats the vessel as the root record: its equipment, maintenance, checklists and trips belong to the boat, and owners keep access to their boat's history whether they run it themselves or with a management company.
